Choosing the Right Glove Weight

Glove weight affects training style and safety. The correct weight depends on your body weight and training purpose:

• 8 oz gloves — competition use only (amateur and professional bouts). Not recommended for bag work.
• 10 oz gloves — suitable for fighters under 60 kg for bag and pad work. Light and fast.
